Mumbai man gets misprinted 500 notes, posts it on FB
Mumbai Manoj C. Kumar, a resident of Mumbai, took it to Facebook and asked for justification of such note.
Days after the new Rs 500 note reached the people, a Mumbai man has said he got a partially misprinted note from an HDFC ATM bank.
The man, Manoj C. Kumar, posted it on Facebook and asked for the justification of such a note, implying that the printing has been haphazard. However, his post raised a few hackles and along with more questions.
Some took it to take a dig at myths and customs,
some others had different views about authenticity, government and comments about this.
This comes in the wake of the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8, and since then chaos has broken out in the country. The public opinion on the decision is divided, some support the move and some oppose due to the great trouble it is causing to the people to access their own hard-earned, tax-accounted cash. The government reintroduced new Rs 500 notes and launched new Rs 2000 notes.
The authenticity of the notes couldn't be verified by Narada News and is solely based on the Facebook post of Manoj C Kumar.
