Note Ban: Mayawati says decision was taken for political gains
Mayawati said PM Narendra Modi is scared to address the Opposition in the House
Bahujan Samaj Party Supremo Mayawati on Saturday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi over demonetisation saying the decision was taken by the Centre for political gains.
Addressing a press conference in Delhi today, Mayawati said the decision has brought nothing but economic emergency in the country and made common people suffering.
Claiming BJP is facing challenge only from BSP in Uttar Pradesh election, Mayawati said her party will keep fighting for the people and voters who are regretting their 2014 mandate.
She also accused Narendra Modi is scared to address the Opposition in the House over the demonetisation issue and emotionally blackmaling people of this county.
Mayawati said: "Leaving his home for the nation was a matter to be appreciated but that doesn’t mean that he would annoy the people of the country.”
"Why does PM Modi cry every time? He does that for public sympathy," She asked.
