Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha adjourned on Friday after uproar in both the houses as opposition demanded the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his apology for his remark that opposition parties favouring black money.
Talking at a book release function at Parliament House Annexe this morning, Modi has claimed that Opposition “favoured black money,” saying "they are hurt because they didn't get time to prepare."
BSP chief Mayawati said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi “wrongly accused opposition of holding black money” and demanded an apologise for his remarks.
Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad also joined with Mayawati earlier today asking how can Modi make such allegations since it was very clear the opposition is against black money during debate on demonetisation yesterday.
“How can Prime Minister level such an allegation... we are against black money. Prime Minister must apologise,” he said.
