Hollywood's rising Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra has sashayed her way to second nomination in the People's Choice Awards, following previous year's win as ‘Favourite Actress in a New TV series 2016'. As a result, she became the first South Asian female actor to win a People’s Choice.
Her previous year win was for her role in Quantico, and now she has been nominated again for the same show but in the category of ‘Favourite Dramatic TV Actress’ where she is competing with Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Taraji P Henson and Viola Davis.
In this one year, Chopra's show has come a long way and is currently airing its second season. She plays Alex Parrish, an FBI recruit. And the addition to the good news is that Quantico has also been nominated in the category of ‘Favourite Network TV Drama.’
The show will be competing with popular shows like Chicago Fire, Empire, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder.

The rising star of the west has already won multiple awards back home in India, including a National Award for Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2008 film Fashion. Her fans hope for another feather in her cap with the award.
The 43rd People’s Choice Awards will be held at Los Angeles on January 18, 2017.
