Plane carrying Brazilian football players crashes in Colombia
Reports said there were 72 people on board including members of razil�s Chapecoense Real football team
A plane carrying 81 people, including Brazilian football players, crashed near the Colombian city of Medellin, authorities said.
The plane with the members of Brazil’s Chapecoense Real football team reportedly crashed en route to José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro.
Latest reports said at least six people survived the accident.
“Confirmed, the aircraft license number CP2933 was carrying the team @ChapecoenseReal. Apparently there are survivors,” the Jose Maria Cordova de Rionegro airport tweeted.

The club team was scheduled to play Copa Sudamerica finals against Atletico Nacional on Wednesday in Medellin, media reports said.
A video surfaced on twitter claimed to show the moment the flight disappeared from view on flight radar.
