PM Modi to address Parivartan Yatra rally in UP’s Kushinagar

Prime Minister had on November 14 addressed a public meeting in eastern UP’s Ghazipur district where he had also laid various infrastructure development projects.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Sunday address the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra rally at Kushinagar, epicenter of the Buddhist circuit in Gorakhpur region.

In the 2014 Parliamentary elections, BJP had swept 17 of the 18 Lok Sabha constituencies of Eastern UP. Media reports said Kushinagar is important for Buddhists for it is believed to be the place where Buddha achieved nirvana and monks are expected to attend the rally.

Prime Minister had on November 14 addressed a public meeting in eastern UP’s Ghazipur district where he had also laid various infrastructure development projects while recalling the instance of a Parliament session of 1962 when Ghazipur MP Vishwanath had spoke about the poverty in eastern UP.

After the Gahzipur rally, today’s rally would be the Modi’s third Parivartan rally and at Agra on December 20, in the backdrop of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, scheduled for early next year.

PM Modi, according to ZeeNews report,  would be addressing the rally at Kasaya airstrip on the outskirts of the city on the sidelines of the ongoing four Parivartan yatras in the state organised by the BJP in order to put a stamp on a BJP-ruled UP next year.

Several Union ministers and senior BJP leaders would be present to welcome the Prime Minister at Kushinagar.
