Rahul Shivshankar likely to replace Arnab Goswami?

Times Now Newshour Anchor Arnab Goswami is likely to get replaced by senior journalist and NewsX anchor Rahul Shivshankar, news portal NewsD reported.

The star anchor Goswami had resigned as the Editor-in-chief of the channel in November first week. Shivshankar joined NewsX channel in September 2013 as Managing Editor and later promoted as Editor-in-Chief a year later.

Shivshankar anchors the channel’s primetime shows ‘Nation@9:00pm’ and ‘India Debates’  on weekdays. He has redefined NewsX’s approach towards daily news coverage and brought immense change in the format.

The senior journalist has served as Executive Editor of Headlines Today (TV Today Network) and as Senior Editor of Times Now in his 20-year career.

Shivshankar is known for his extensive reportage of Nariman House siege during 2008’s Mumbai attack published by Roli books. He writes comment pieces on current affairs in various media.
