Israel president will hold talks with his counterpart Pranab Mukherjee, who will also arrange a banquet for the visiting dignitary
Israel President Reuven Rivlin will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday as part of his eight-day official visit to India. The talk is featured to focus on agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
Both nations have strong tie-ups in the areas of economy and commerce, science and technology, research and innovation, culture and tourism, education etc.
Israel president will hold talks with his counterpart Pranab Mukherjee, who will also arrange a banquet for the visiting dignitary. Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will also hold talks with Rivlin.
The visiting president's meeting with Modi will take place at 11:30 am, at the Hyderabad House. After the talks and signing of agreements, both the leaders will hold a press meet at 12:30 pm.Hamid Ansari will visit president at 4 pm at Hotel Taj Palace, followed by Rivlin's meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7:30 pm. Banquet hosted by Mukherjee will be held at 8 pm.
On Wednesday, Rivlin will visit Taj Mahal followed by a visit to Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam Water Treatment Plant at Sikandra in the noon. He will be returning to New Delhi around 3.45 pm.
President Rivlin is here on the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee. He will be meeting business leaders of both India and Israel in the following days.
Israel President will visit ‘Centre of Excellence’ in agriculture in Karnal and will join the Agro Tech – 2016 on Thursday.
