Trump may make adjustments on Obamacare, after meeting Barack Obama

Trump said he made changes on his earlier views on Obamacare after meeting Obama, adding Obama requested him to incorporate some parts of his policy.

President-elect Donald Trump is likely to modify Obamacare- after his interactions with President Barack Obama on Thursday.

Trump comes with a change of positions already in his official website. Donald Trump may come with a pledge to modify Obamacare, as it had come under fire from the Republican strongman during his presidential campaigns.
Trump’s rhetoric steered him to victory, despite facing the odds from Hillary and his GOP members.

Trump said he made changes on his earlier views on Obamacare after meeting Obama, adding Obama requested him to incorporate some parts of his policy.

“Either Obamacare will be amended, or repealed and replaced,” he said, revealing it was done on Obama’s request.
“I told him I will look at his suggestions, and out of respect, I will do that.”

Trump asked people not to be panicked about scrapping of Obamacare:

“We’re going to very much try to keep that. It adds cost but it’s very much something we’re going to try to keep,” Trump said. “You cannot let people die on the street, OK? Now, some people would say, ‘That’s not a very Republican thing to say.’ Every time I say this at a rally … it got a standing ovation,” he said at a CNN town hall in February. “The problem is that everybody thinks that you people, as Republicans, hate the concept of taking care of people that are really, really sick and are gonna die. We gotta take care of people that can’t take care of themselves.”

In his interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” Trump made it clear that he wants to tell individuals with pre-existing conditions will now have more coverage.

“Yes, because it happens to be one of the strongest assets,” Trump said.
