Twitter India's MD Parminder Singh quits
Twitter has been struggling with growth across the world, and now finds itself outdone by newer apps, services like Snapchat, etc
A day after Twitter India head Rishi Jaitly stepped down, the social media giant faced another jolt on Thursday. Twitter’s managing director for India, South-East Asia, the Middle-East and North Africa Parminder Singh resigned from his position.
In a series of tweets, Singh announced his resignation on Twitter. After saying that he had quit, he said that his position and responsibility of India & South-East Asia region will now be managed by Maya Hari, who currently works as senior director, product strategy & sales for the Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa regions.

He was previously with Google, heading the company’s display advertising segment in the Asia Pacific region, Business Standard reported.
