US Election Aftermath: Will Donald Trump Be Impeached?
Unhappy Americans are googling to get the ways to impeach their president-elect Donald Trump. As per the report of Metro, searches for “how to impeach a president” increased 4,850 percent just hours after Clinton conceded.
People are seeking guidance on how to impeach a president while a law professor named Christopher Peterson claimed there might be enough pieces of evidence to justify for the impeachment of Trump for fraud and racketeering.
Professor Peterson’s paper revolves around Trump University, the school Mr. President-elect set up and closed down in 2010. There are numerous lawsuits which affect Trump school.
“In the United States, it is illegal for businesses to use false statements to convince consumers to purchase their services,” explained Peterson. “The evidence indicates that Trump University used a systemic pattern of fraudulent representations to trick thousands of families into investing in a program that can be argued was a sham. Fraud and racketeering are serious crimes that legally rise to the level of impeachable acts.”
In the History of America, two presidents had been impeached by US House, Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Richard Nixson had resigned before the process of impeachment.
On the other hand, Democrat Hillary Clinton urged her supporters to unite and help to heal the divisions that erupted during the presidential campaign.
At the time of result declaration, searches for ‘how to immigrate or move to Canada’ and ‘how to become a Canadian citizen’ have also surged. All these chaos show that part of America is still finding difficulties to admit Donald Trump as their next president.
