What will happen in USA now that Donald Trump is the president

When Trump takes charge in Januray next year, the entire world will be looking at what Trump actually going to do as a President of the worlds's most powerful country. The real question would whether he will be actually going after the 'promises' he had made during the campaign or 'making the America great again' with a new perspective

US election 2016

Donald trump has won the race now, pushing the US into an uncertain future. Helped by the anti-establishment sentiment, the business man-turned politician will now march into the White house as the 45th president of United States of America.

What makes Trump a nemesis is nothing, but his own words. The immature and offensive hate-speeches and war mongering calls, being made by the President-elect hopeful during his campaign underscore how messed up America can be under his new regime. And, Trump’s stand on issues from economic policy to parenthood reveals how backward his thoughts are. If he is serious about those claims made already, then US would see all these changes soon.

A ‘Tall and beautiful wall’ between US and Mexico

Among all of Trump’s comments, the most popular was his wish to build an “impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful, beautiful, southern border wall” between the US and Mexico. He has suggested this plan to help the country to stop flow of illegal immigrants coming from the other side, Trump insisted Mexico will pay for the border wall.

No Planned Parenthood for Americans

Trump has been degrading the womanhood since his nomination, mostly through a series of sexist comments. But what would be more horrible for the US women is his stand against abortion. He has made his intention to ban abortion several times saying, “I am pro-life”. Making his opinion more horrible, Trump reportedly said that he believes abortion is only acceptable in cases of rape, incest, or where the life of the mother is in danger.

The supporters of the Republican presidential candidate reportedly targeting journalist with anti-Semitic tweets.

No entry for Muslims to United States

As one of his strategic plans to protect the country from terrorism, Trump called for a “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the U.S. However, while accusing American Muslims of harboring terrorists, trump said he would ease the ban in the case of Muslims serving in the U.S. military.

US will take no steps to control global pollution

The Republican Presidential nominee recently confirmed that he will cancel the historic Paris climate deal if he wins the election, saying it will cost the country’s economy USD 5.3 trillion. A Trump government would never take a step to reduce global warming as he believes there is no evidence that humans are responsible for climate change.

Don’t ever think about same-sex marriage

Though he promised “ I will do everything in my power to protect LGBTQ citizens,” Trump remains one of the consistent opponents of same-sex marriage. Making obvious his support for ‘traditional marriage’, Trump reportedly said in an interview, “I think the institution of marriage should be between a man and a woman.”

Donald Trump

It’s a good news, you can shoot people for any god damn reason

The mass shootings happened across the US in the recent past have raised questions over the need of gun control in the country. However, ‘President Trump’ would never take a step to strip away gun rights from Americans as he is more concerned about protecting the rights of gun owners and preventing any legislation that impedes their right to bear arms.

Media freedom!! Never expect

Ever since Trump started his election campaign, what most caused for his headache was not rival Hillary Clinton, but the US media. Trump has fiercely attacked the media on several occasions in his campaign, arguing “they’re the most dishonest people you’ll ever see.” Reports reveal that Trump has already found ways to suppress the press, like excluding certain members of the press from his conferences.

Political correctness? Not for President at least

It might look silly, but actually not. Trump’s continues refusal to be politically correct would definitely impact the public sphere of the United States. Not just Hillary Clinton, the women of America would be the real victim of this ‘Trump character’. Trump’s perception of women, whom he consistently insulted, belittled, sexualized and stereotyped, would further discredit the ‘modern American’ when he leads the country. A recently leaked audio tape indicates how badly he can treat the women- “Just kiss, I don’t even wait… Grab ’em by the pussy… When you’re a star, they let you do anything,” Trump says in the recording.

When Trump takes charge in January next year, the entire world will be looking at what Trump actually going to do as a President of the worlds’s most powerful country. The real question would whether he will be actually going after the ‘promises’ he had made during the campaign or ‘making the America great again’ with a new perspective.
