The next feather on the cap for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after wax status in Madam Tussads Museum is a feature film being directed in India.
"Modi ka Gaon" a feature film is presented by Swarnim Global, produced by Suresh Jha and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel.
The film is based on PM Modi and his agenda for development of India. The director has reportedly informed that shooting for the film has completed, and it is now in post production stage.
Jha, who emphasised it is “not a biopic”, plans a mega-premier for which he is making attempts to get Modi to do the honours.
Vikas Mahante, a lookalike of Narendra Modi, is a businessman based in Mumbai. He would now be featuring as Modi in the film, which is based on the initiatives launched by the prime minister.
According to the reports, the budget for the film isn't big, and TV actor Chandramani M and Zeba A would be playing important characters in the film.
Jha has reportedly informed that Zeba had a near death experience during Bihar floods, and there she was saved by an NGO and later on was sent for further studies to United States of America. Jha said, “In the USA, she learns of Modiji’s vision, his work and dreams for transforming the country into a developed nation. She is inspired to return to her homeland, as the story moves ahead.”
Most of the film has been shot in Patna, Darbhanga and Mumbai. Jha also informed that Musician Manojchand Chaudhary has composed 7 songs for the film. The film details Modi’s passion for making all rural and urban centres as ‘Smart Villages’ or ‘Smart Cities’.
