Afghanistan: U.S. airstrikes kill 11 ISIS loyalists

Airstrikes carried out by the United States killed at least seven loyalists of dreaded terrorist group, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province.

According to media reports, local security officials said that the airstrike was carried out using an unmanned aerial vehicle in Haska Mina district and the militants were targeted in Langari Kand area.

Following the airstrikes, there has been no comment by the anti-government armed militant regarding the report so far.

Afghanistan and the US forces have conducted raids against the Taliban insurgents and ISIS loyalist in the districts where they have been conduction insurgency activities.
