At least 20 civilians, including 10 children were killed in airstrikes on a village held by Islamic terrorists in Eastern Syria said latest media reports.

Reports said, unidentified warplanes raided  Hajna village on Tuesday night leaving 20 people from two families dead.

According to activist group Deir Ezzor 24, no member from both families survived the bomb attack. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, most of the casualty were from two families of Hojna in Deir Ezzor province,   country’s second largest province, bordering between between Eastern Syria and Iraq.



ISIS has taken control of this oil-rich region where the government forces and US military are currently waging a bloody battle against the Islamists.

Now, the government forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad controls only the capital of the Eastern province.
