Another cyclone is forming in the Bay of Bengal
'Another cyclone is expected to form in the next 48 hours', says Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai.
Balachander, Director of Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai informed that a wind formed in the Bay of Bengal has reached 1280 km south to Visakhapatnam. In the next 24 hours it is expected to turn intensive and might transform into cyclone in another 24 hours.
It is moving towards North-west region. Coastal areas in southern Tamil Nadu might experience rainfall within the coming 24 hours. In Chennai, rain is expected in regular intervals. Though there are symptoms of cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, it is 1000 km away from Tamil Nadu. So it will not be threat to fishermen now.
