BlackBerry Mercury with a full QWERTY keyboard? leaked images say so

The leaked images of the BlackBerry 'Mercury' don't tell much about the most anticipated phone other than it will feature a physical QWERTY keyboard.

Chinese Social media website, Sina Weibo has spotted two images of the phone with a slim side-bezel design, a front camera and light sensors. The phone which will be running on Android also appears to feature capacious buttons placed between the screen and keyboard.

Along with BlackBerry BBB100-1, Mercury was earlier spotted on Geekbench, a benchmarking website in October. The site said the phone will be featuring 2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm processor and featuring Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

The phone has 3GB RAM and got 913 on the single-core score and 5046 on the multi-core score. Mercury comes with a 4.5-inch Full HD display and an aspect ratio of 3:2.

Backed by  3,400 mAh battery the phone will have full physical QWERTY keyboard underneath the touch display. With an onboard storage of 32 GB, the phone features an 18 MP camera and  8MP selfie shooter.

BlackBerry CEO John Chen said in November that company was working out an Android device with a physical keyboard- that were missing in DTEK devices launched recently in BlackBerry name.
