Centre is bullying us, says AIADMK leader
BJP has started bullying the Tamil Nadu government just after the death of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa, says E Madhusoodhanan.
AIADMK presidium chairman E Madhusudhanan has said the Central government is trying to threaten them after raids at the residence of former Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary Rama Mohan Rao.
He also said the BJP-led government was behind the I-T department raids conducted at the residence of former TN chief secretary and they were forcing the AIADMK to admit all actions by them.
“There are clear intentions behind the raids conducted by the I-T department. The BJP has started bullying the Tamil Nadu government just after the death of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa,” he added.
AIADMK spokesperson Dheeran said the IT raid could be a political manipulation by the BJP.
"There is a plethora of Bills and Union government schemes for which the Centre needs our backing. Amma was careful while extending support, keeping in mind the interests of the state. We feel the IT raids on such a senior officer like the chief secretary is an indirect threat to us," said Dheeran.
