Indian pacer Mohammed Shami has become the victim of the vicious attack by social media over the Facebook photograph with his wife.

Mohammed Shami shared a family photograph with wife Hasin Jahan and their daughter on Sunday.

Soon after the post, his fans started to troll and some made abusive comments over the outfit of his wife Hasin Jahan. Fanatics demanded Shami ensure that his wife was not seen without wearing a hijab and Shami was reminded of his religion.

However the 26-year-old from Bengal responded to all the misplaced social media outrages by posting a comment on facebook. "These two people (wife and daughter) are my life and we should look into ourselves to understand how good we are," he expressed his stand.

Earlier, Tennis champion Sania Mirza, the world No 1 women’s doubles player, had faced attacks over her religion.
