Dear Zindagi Box office collection: crosses 100 cr mark worldwide

Within it’s first week, the film has surpassed Highway, English Vinglish and Wazir’s lifetime collection

Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Dear Zindagi has been performing very well at the box office with its collection running over Rs 100 crore worldwide. The movie released on November 28 and has been running successfully since then.

In a post on twitter, Karan Johar shared that the team is celebrating 100+ crore collection for the movie.

The movie completed 10 days at the domestic market and it earned decently on its second Sunday as well. Reportedly, within it’s first week, the film has surpassed Highway, English Vinglish and Wazir’s lifetime collection!

Dear Zindagi ended its second weekend at the Indian box office with a collection of over Rs 55 crore nett. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film has been running successfully in theatres since its opening day.

It had been reported that Shah Rukh, Alia-starrer had earned over Rs 30 crore in the domestic market in just three days of its release. Dear Zindagi witnessed slow business through th e week days, but it shot up right at top on weekend again.

According to the reports, the movie had collected Rs 2.25 crore on its second Friday. Saturday collection had witnessed a growth of 55.56 percent as it had collected Rs 3.50 crore at the domestic market. Now, early estimates suggest that Dear Zindagi collected Rs 4 crore (approximately) nett on Sunday, taking its 10-day box office collection to over Rs 56 crore (approximately).

The major support for the film has been coming from positive reviews from the critics and then strong word of mouth is the additional flavour to improved business of the film. The audience has liked the onscreen chemistry between SRK and Alia, plus the storyline has also been appreciated.
