Delhi Fog woes: 42 trains delayed, 4 cancelled
The fog didn't affect the flight operations today.
Amid the winter and holiday spirit, Delhi witnesses moderate to dense fog in the morning which has led to delay in rail operations.
According to the reports, 42 were delayed and 4 others were cancelled on Friday due to fog in most parts of north India. A Northern Railway official told media that the Brahmputra Express was running over 24 hours behind schedule, the Swatantrata Senani Express was running over 27 hours late and the Shaheed Express was over 15 hours late.
He further informed that at least four trains were rescheduled.
However, the fog didn't affect the flight operations today.
The minimum temperature in the morning was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of the day was likely to hover around 24 degrees Celsius. The visibility on Friday morning remained around 400 metres.
