Lenovo Phab 2 launched in India with 6.4 inch display, things you need to know

Lenovo launched the Phab 2 in India on Monday. The phone comes with a 6.4-inch 720p HD display and an exclusive sale will start on Flipkart on December 9 with a price Rs 11,999. The latest in the Phab series, Phab 2 has premium design in the mid-end segment.
With a resolution of 1280*720p Lenovo Phab 2 features a large 6.4-inch display. There is an octa-core MediaTek (MTK8735) processor under the hood which is coupled with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and microSD card support ( up to 128GB).
A long 4050mAh battery which offers 32 hours of talktime and 14 days of standby is another surprise in Phab 2. The phone has a 13- megapixel camera with LED flash and Phase Detection Fast Auto Focus (PDAF).
Augmented reality (AR) features in Phab 2 Plus version is also there in the new phone. With an 85-degree wide angle lens, there is a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
Smartphones with multimedia interfaces have always come from Lenovo and the latest Phab 2 is no different. Like the previous devices, Phab 2 features Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio Capture 5.1.
Lenovo has added 360-degree noise cancellation feature for higher voice clarity and better speakerphone experience.
4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and a 3.5mm headphone jack connectivity options are some of the arrays of connectivity options. Only Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colour variants are there for the phone.
At its Tech World conference in San Francisco in June itself, Lenovo had introduced Phab 2 along with Phab 2 Plus and Phab 2 Pro. The slightly enhanced version of Phab 2, Phab 2 Plus is available for for Rs 14,999.
On the other hand, Phab 2 pro is the world's first Project Tango-enabled smartphone. Keeping surprises in the box, Phab 2 release in India is yet to announce.
