No dialogue but jihad will liberate Kashmir: Hafiz Saeed
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, renewed his call for a Kashmir Jihad and said that no dialogue but jihad will liberate Kashmir.
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed, renewed his call for a “Kashmir Jihad” and said that no dialogue but jihad will liberate Kashmir.
Saeed who was addressing a “solidarity” rally in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) capital Muzaffarbad on Thursday said, “No dialogue but jihad will liberate Kashmir. There is no Line of Control (LoC) but a ceasefire line between parts of J&K. Pakistan should shun pursuing friendly relations with India. The disrespect shown to Sartaj Aziz was disrespect to the whole of Pakistan and Kashmir. Mr. Aziz should go only to those places where he is heard.”
Saeed accused PM Modi led BJP government of “changing demographics in J&K on the lines of the 1947 massacre in Jammu”. “Mr. Modi will prove like Russia’s Mikhail Gorbachev. By stopping water to Pakistan, India intends to turn it into Somalia,” he said.
Saeed said that Pakistan’s foreign policy chief Sartaj Aziz’s visit to India brought “disgrace to Pakistan and Kashmir”. He said that sending the Prime Minister’s adviser to Amritsar for the Heart of Asia meet was a “wrong decision of the (Pakistani) government”.
The militant organisation leader said his organisation could prepare a detailed briefing on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir for Aziz.
He said Pakistan and Kashmiris would have to accomplish the task of liberating Jammu and Kashmir themselves.
Saeed described the September 29, 2016 surgical attacks by Indian Army as “a movie”. “India is good at making movies. No country accepted it. Indians are not good when it’s about the real battleground,” Saeed said.
