On Friday evening, Antara Das, a Pune-based techie finished her work and came out informing she would not be taking office cab, an unusual decision to her friends. Minutes after, she was seen running on the road, chased by a man, ready to bang with a sharp weapon.

"I am shocked. My daughter was an intelligent and brave girl. But there was a boy who was harassing her while she was studying Java script in Bangalore, but I was unaware of him until I spoke to my younger daughter," Antara's father Debananda Das said on Sunday. He also gave a name who is being investigated by the police.
