Twitter accounts of Congress, Rahul Gandhi hacked again, abusive content posted
A night after Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s official Twitter handle was hacked, hackers again took control of Rahul’s handle and the official Twitter account of Congress on Thursday morning.
Rahul’s account, @OfficeOfRG, was hacked on late Wednesday evening and tweeted abuses aimed at Rahul and the Gandhi family. But, the tweets were deleted after few minutes.
“It’s a huge question mark on the digital security,” Rahul Gandhi was quoted saying by news agency ANI.
To every one of you haters out there. I love all of you. You’re beautiful. Your hatred just doesn’t let you see it yet
— Office of RG (@OfficeOfRG) December 1, 2016
Eight abusive tweets were posted in quick succession and hackers also removed Rahul’s profile picture and changed the title of the account. Rahul has over 1.21 million followers on the social media platform.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala reacted by tweeting, “@OfficeOfRG hacked. Such lowly tactics will never drown sane voice of reason nor deter Rahul Gandhi from raising people’s issues.”
Pre-meditated hacking of @OfficeOfRG smacks of a sinister conspiracy to abuse & intimidate. It stregthens our resolve to fight for the Nation

The hackers also posted offensive messageson @INCIndia, but the tweets were erased in a matter of minutes
One of the tweets on @INCIndia read: “For every retard out there who thinks we have a political agenda – No, we don’t.”
The official Congress Twitter account has around 1.38 million followers.
Latest reports said Delhi Police has initiated a probe into the hacking of Congress vice-president Rahul.
“We have written to Twitter to provide us log details such as the IP address of the hackers. We have started investigating the matter,” a senior police official was quoted by Indian Express as saying.
