Atif Aslam stops mid-concert to rescue girl from eve-teasing

While the news is filled with molestations, rapes etc, Pakistani singer and also Indian heartthrob Atif Aslam has set an example of standing up against such cases and won over hearts and respect.

In his show in Pakistan, a viral video shows Atif stopping the show midway and reprimanding the men who were eve-teasing a girl in the front row. "Tumne kabhi ladki nahi dekhi hai? Tumhari maa-behen bhi ho sakti hai yahaan par

(Have you never seen a girl before? Your mother or sister could have been here as well)," he can be heard telling the wrongdoers.

According to local media, the incident took place at his concert on Saturday night.

While he asks the security personnel to escort the girl to safety, the crowd can be heard cheering "Atif, Atif".  This comes while social media has been abuzz with mass molestation cases and rape cases across the country.

His action is being lauded all over the social media platforms.

Recently, Atif Aslam released his new single Pehli Dafa featuring Ileana D'Cruz in India. The song came at a time of strained bilateral ties between India and Pakistan when Shah Rukh Khan had to meet Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray to assure him that Pakistani actor Mahira Khan would not be promoting their upcoming film Raees.
