Lenovo will officially launch the P2 smartphone on Wednesday in India with a massive 5,100mAh battery and will exclusively be available on e-Commerce site Flipkart.

Lenovo has confirmed the reports by teasing the Lenovo P2 on it's Twitter page with the latest one reading: "Watch @issahilkhattar & @shibanidandekar unveil the much awaited Lenovo P2 #Powerhouse on 11th January,12:30 pm. Stay tuned for details!."

Lenovo is going for an open sale with P2 it seems, as Flipkart's homepage is not asking users to register for purchasing the device.
The Lenovo P2 will come with a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED touchscreen display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chip set which comes either with a 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM and 32GB on board memory. But the Chinese model will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB on inbuilt storage that can be extended via microSD card on all the variants.
There is a 13MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash, which is accompanied with 5MP camera on the front. At the back of the device, there is a 5,100 mAh battery which helps in quick charging with 24-watt charger which can also be used in charging other devices. Apart from these there is a fingerprint sensor on the front as to enhance the security. This device will be available for 249/299 Euros.
