No bonanza; Modi begins UP Election campaign

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to vote for the development of Uttar Pradesh, rising above caste and religion, addressing a huge gathering at Parivartan rally in Lucknow.

Mocking the caste-ridden politics in UP, Modi said, it was unfortunate that development is not priority for the government.

“My aim is to change the future of India, and we will begin by changing the future of UP,” said Modi. Modi, added UP suffered from misrule of 14 years under successive governments.

Taking dig at the state of political parties in UP, Modi, said one party is desperately trying to establish the leader’s son for 15 years but didn’t realise their mistake so far, while another party is knocking doors to keep all their black money.

Modi claimed, BJP has no such high command and it is being led by people themselves. Modi reiterated that he introduced the demonetisation to save the country from  black money and corruption and the critics of demonetisation are only helping money launders and corrupt people.
