Pawan Kalyan releases musical album demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh
The album Desh Bachao with a tag stating 'Jana Sena rises its voice against divisive and criminal politics' is however terribly disappointing.
Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday launched a protest music album at Vijayawada demanding Special Category Status’ for Andhra Pradesh.
The album ‘Desh Bachao’ with a tag stating 'Jana Sena rises its voice against divisive and criminal politics' is however terribly disappointing.
The album claimed to be a voice against opportunistic, divisive and criminal politics, but it only had the shouting of Pawan couple with jarring mixing of music by DJ Prithvi.
The musical was uploaded in Jana Sena Youtube channel on Tuesday and is intended to motivate youth to take up the cause of the ‘Special Category Status’.
In all, the album has six songs and three of them were released on Tuesday through Youtube at regular intervals of 45 minutes each since 1 pm. Within 15 minutes after the first song was released, it went viral and attracted more than 15,000 views.
All the three songs were the remix versions of Pawan Kalyan's popular songs from his previous movies, mixed with his statements on the special category status. The first song is Travelling Soldier - Bhangra Ladoo remix done by DJ Prithvi Sai. It has few parts of Pawan Kalyan’s speech at Kakinada meeting. It was originally composed, performed and written by Ramana Gogula for the movie Thammudu starring Pawan Kalyan.
Jana Sena chief tweeted that the second song - Naaraju Gakura was conceived after ‘Godhra’ Train Burning incident, in which Karsevaks were burnt alive and which lead to communal riots and loss of life. "It left deep impression on me," he added.
Pawan Kalyan said the third song ‘Yeh Mera Jahan’ from the film Kushi, was conceived to convey to the youth that they should actively participate in process of building the nation and be aware of selfish elements who pillage our nation.
However, Pawan’s tweets are more effective than his album. He made a “gentle reminder” to the law makers, stating that the elected representatives were standing on the sacrifices of countless selfless individuals who had given up everything for future generations.
