PM Modi, Amit Shah to campaign for BJP in Uttarakhand
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah, Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and Manohar Parrikar are among campaigners who will campaign for the BJP in Uttarakhand.
Bharatiya Janata Party has decided the list of 40-star campaigners for the upcoming Uttarakhand polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah, Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and Manohar Parrikar are among campaigners who will campaign for the party in Uttarakhand which witnesses election on February 15.
Mathura MP Hema Malini and Union Minister for Textiles Smriti Irani are also joining with the campaigning team for the party. All these names are mentioned in a letter to the Election Commission of India by BJP national general secretary Arun Singh.
Besides these prominent leaders, the rest of the party campaigners are Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Radha Mohan Singh besides former chief ministers of the state Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and Vijay Bahuguna.
The elections in 70 constituencies in Uttarakhand will be held on February 15 as a single phase.
