Prepaid mobile internet services back in Kashmir after six months
The mobile internet services on postpaid numbers were restored in November last year
After a six month gap, prepaid mobile internet services have been restored in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Authorities had suspended the service in the valley after militant Burhan Wani died in an encounter on July 8 last year.
However, the mobile internet services on postpaid numbers were restored in November last year along with the suspension of several other restrictions.
Meanwhile, reports said BSNL was the only mobile service functional in some parts of Kashmir , while BSNL broadband service also remained as the only internet service provider in the valley.
