As the Punjab elections come close, Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh filed his nomination for Lambi seat to fight against Badals.

In addition, days after his ordination in Navjot Singh Sidhu also filed his nominations for the East Amritsar seat.






Addressing media after filing his nomination, Amarinder Singh said that he will surely beat Parkash Singh Badal from the Lambi seat. Taking a jab at Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, he said that "Kejriwal has done in his life to achieve something is throw a shoe at the Finance Minister."





On the other hand, elated Sidhu addressed media claiming that he isn't fighting elections for himself but for the state, as "it was important for me to come into the system and fight."





He further called for the Public to vote for Punjab to establish their religion, and claimed that it should be Punjab who wins this time.
