Raees box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan film garners Rs 93.24 crore in 5 days
The film, which was released on 2700 screens, had collected Rs 20.42 crore on the opening day.
Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Raees" earned Rs 17.80 cr on Sunday taking the total to Rs 93.24 cr.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Raees Wed 20.42 cr, Thu 26.30 cr, Fri 13.11 cr, Sat 15.61 cr, Sun 17.80 cr. Total: ₹ 93.24 cr. India biz... Weekdays are crucial!
On Sunday, he tweeted: “#Raees is EXCELLENT… Wed 20.42 cr, Thu 26.30 cr, Fri 13.11 cr, Sat 15.61 cr. Total: ₹ 75.44 cr. India biz.”
On Friday, the film grossed Rs 59.83. The film, which was released on 2700 screens, had collected Rs 20.42 crore on the opening day.
Raees collected $347,000 on 247 screens on Wednesday in the US and continues to trend in the important Gulf states too with estimates saying Raees stood at $500,000, according to a report in The Indian Express. The report added that the film enjoyed a solid lead in the UK with $158,000, it minted $268,000 over a 2 day run in Australia.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh had earlier tweeted: “#Raees Wed 20.42 cr, Thu 26.30 cr, Fri 13.11 cr. Total: ₹ 59.83 cr. India biz… All set for a big Sat and Sun.”
The film is a crime thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their banners Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment. It has Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.
Recently, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who is starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film, expressed her disappointment as the film is not being released in Pakistan. She said, "I am the first Pakistani actress who got the opportunity to work with Shah Rukh Khan as the main lead. But I feel that my success and fame has come under the evil eye due to which my film has not been able to release in Pakistan."
