Reliance Jio, which offers free services till March 2017, is reportedly planning to its flagship plan till June this year.

Under the Reliance Jio Happy New offer, the company is now offering its free services, including 1GB LTE data at full speed and free calls, to its around 72 million subscribers.

However, the extension of the plan may come with will a new tariff plan, including Rs 100 for data, reports said citing people familiar with the matter.


Earlier, other network providers were also introduced after Reliance’s Jio Happy New Year Offer. Airtel free voice calling packs come soon after Reliance Jio extended its Welcome Offer providing free voice calls, data, text messages and other services free by another 3 months.

The new Rs. 345 pack by Airtel allows prepaid customers to make free voice calls, both local and STD, to any network in India. Along with this, buyers of the Rs. 345 Airtel prepaid pack will get 1GB of 4G data.

In a market race with Reliance Jio, Vodafone has declared new data offers for its prepaid users. Customers who buy the 1GB data pack at Rs 250 will now be getting 4GB of data for 28 days.

In addition, under the Rs 999 plan that up till now offered 10GB of 4G data will now offer prepaid users 22GB of 4G data for the same money. The updated 4G data packs are Rs 150(1GB), Rs 250 (4GB), Rs 350 (6GB),Rs 450 (9GB), Rs 650 (13GB),Rs 999 (22GB) and Rs 1500 (35GB).
