UP Polls 2017: Akhilesh Yadav to kick off SP election campaign from Sultanpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in his new role as Samajwadi National President will kick off Party's election campaign on Tuesday from Sultanpur. This will be Akhilesh's first public rally since he attained the president post after his victory in the power game within the Yadav family.
During the first phase of UP Elections, 73 assembly constituencies in 15 districts of the state, western part, are going to polls.The pre-poll alliance between Congress and the ruling SP in Uttar Pradesh has given 105 seats to Congress.
While Sultanpur witnesses the fifth phase of election on February 27, Akhilesh's decision to start poll election campaign from there left party workers wondering. The question why he ignored the places which are going to polls in the first phase.
As per the poll schedule, the last date to file nominations is January 24, while scrutiny of nomination papers would be held on January 25. Voting would be held on February 11 and counting of votes would be done on March 11.
