UP polls: Amit Shah to release BJP's manifesto today, law and order & development top the list
BJP is expected to announce new employment generation schemes, as the party is contesting the election holding up the development rhetoric
BJP chief Amit Shah will release the saffron party's election manifesto for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow today.
The manifesto, which is likely to woo youths in particular, will feature issues such as improving law and order situation in the state. Planning to return to power after 15 years, BJP is likely to make development another important theme of the document.
Senior leaders of BJP will accompany Shah at the time of the release of the manifesto.
According to IndiaToday, the topic of good, corruption-free governance will have an important part in the document. Health, creation of jobs and better education will also be featured in the manifesto.

The party is hoping to garner votes from non-Yadav Other Backward Castes and non-Jatav SC voters, is likely to announce schemes for the people from these sections.
The saffron party has announced 371 candidates so far, out of which 80 are Dalits and around 130 are from various backward castes. The UP assembly has 403 seats.
BJP which scored a stunning victory in 2014 Parliament elections, by winning 71 out of 80 seats, is in a triangular fight with Samajwadi Paty- Congress alliance and the Bahujan Samaj Party for gaining power.
