Watch: Delhi BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari mocks people standing in bank and ATM queues
The controversial video showed Tiwari sarcastically saying that he went to meet people standing in the queue and later he sang a song which described every person in the queue as a patriot
Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari is facing criticism after a video, in which he was seen mocking people standing in queues outside banks and ATMs, started doing rounds on social media.
Tiwari, a popular Bhojpuri singer-actor, was seen making fun of public struggling after the demoneisation in a video released by Delhi Darpan TV, saying how he prepared a song when a reporter asked about his views on demonetisation.
The video was reportedly filmed at a private New Year’s event organised by MLA Vijender Gupta, where national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi, and New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi were also present.
The controversial video showed Tiwari sarcastically saying that he went to meet people standing in the queue and later he sang a song which described every person in the queue as a patriot.
While other BJP functionaries laughed out at the incident, Tiwari said public standing in the queue were looked more determined after his song.
