Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal is expected to visit Gujarat by February 26. AAP will gherao the office of Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on that day and submit a memorandum to him listing the grievances of the people.
AAP has turned its focus on the BJP stronghold which is going to Assembly polls later this year. "As we gherao the chief minister on February 26, Kejriwal is expected to address a gathering of people there," an AAP leader said.
Delhi Labour Minister Gopal Rai is also accompanying Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal to visit the state.
"Not only Kejriwal, but all top leaders will keep visiting the state now," the leader added.
Kejriwal is now in Bengaluru as the part of his naturopathy treatment and he is expected to return to Delhi by February 22 after which a final decision on his Gujarat visit will be taken.
As Punjab and Goa Assembly elections came to an end, the AAP will now focus on Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which had witnessed atrocities against Dalits like Una attack.
