On her way to Chennai from her home in London, Amy Jackson made a quick trip to a mobile phone store in Mumbai while she awaited her connecting flight. The 'Freaky Ali' actress's phone was hacked and a few of her private pictures found their way to the internet.

Apparently, the phone's automatic sync uploaded all the phone's content to an iCloud and some miscreant hacked into her account, and went on to leak 2 pictures of Amy having dinner with a friend.

She couldn't log into her account and this caused her to approach the service centre, where she realised that her phone was indeed hacked.

Amy seems to be in great shock at this breach of privacy and has decided to file a complaint with the cyber-crime department back in her hometown, and even in Mumbai.

Speaking about the incident, Amy was quoted by mid-day as saying, "I was shocked when this happened. This isn't a trivial matter and has to be taken up seriously. I will register a complaint with the cyber crime cell in London and ensure the hackers are taken to task. Cyber safety is the need of the hour."

Amy, who was in Kerala to perform at the Vanitha Film Awards, said that she is set to rejoin the shoot of superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming sci-fi thriller 2.0.

Directed by Shankar, the film is made on a lavish budget of Rs 400 crore. Reports suggest that 90% of the shoot is done.
