A video of the US President Donald Trump's granddaughter singing a Chinese New Year song is entertaining netizens all over the world.

Trump's daughter Ivanka posted a video on Instagram of her 5-year-old daughter Arabella Kushner singing best wishes for the auspicious moment to the tune of "Oh My Darling, Clementine" while playing with a traditional Chinese puppet.

Arabella and Ivanka made a surprise visit to the Chinese embassy in Washington to participate in the festivities.





Arabella has already made friends in China when a video clip of her reciting an ancient Chinese poem in November.

This year's Lunar New Year came on last Saturday. This occasion is China's most important traditional holiday, a time for family gatherings, feasts and the exchange of greetings between relatives, friends and work colleagues.

Several other Asian countries and Chinese communities worldwide also celebrate the festival.

Residents of Shanghai, the financial hub of China praised both Ivanka and her daughter, even some have criticised Trump's failure to send greetings for the Lunar New Year.
