Suni who came to surrender in court has been nabbed along with co-accused Vijesh from the courtroom amid protests by the lawyers
Kerala police on Thursday arrested Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the case of kidnapping and molesting actor in a moving car from a CJM court in Kochi. Suni who came to surrender in court has been nabbed along with co-accused Vijesh from the courtroom amid protests by the lawyers.
The dramatic incidents took place after the court session has adjourned for lunch. The investigation took the accused to Aluva after they managed to get him to the police vehicle. It is learnt that police took both the accused to the police club in Aluva.
The arrest came at a time when police have claimed that Suni has gone out of Kerala and the search for him is going on. Suni and Vijesh entered the court through the back door with their lawyer. The court has been adjourned for the lunch and the magistrate had gone to his chamber by that time.
Police entered the courtroom and arrested both during this time. Suni and Vijesh tried to overpower the police cadre and tried to run.
The investigation team have claimed earlier that both Suni and Vijesh left Kerala. The new turn of events thus fail these claims of police that the team have strengthened search for Suni outside Kerala.
The 30-year-old actor's SUV car was rear-ended by another on last Friday when she was on her way to Kochi from Thrissur. Pulsar Sunil and some other men allegedly forced themselves into the car and molested the actor. She also has alleged that they have driven her around for two hours before she was thrown off the car near Kochi. The attacker allegedly took her photos and videos too.
