Microsoft Surface has a competitive rival now Samsung is planning to launch an all-new Windows 10 powered machine along with its much expected next generation Galaxy S8.

The new machine is called the Galaxy Book, this new tablet is rightly aiming at Microsoft Surface and even includes a keyboard case and S Pen stylus at no cost.

The Korean tech giant is launching Galaxy Book in two versions with sizes of 10.6-inch and 12-inch and both will be going for sale together.


The smaller model features a TFT LCD display, while the jackpot 12-inch device has a stunning Super AMOLED screen. The larger Galaxy Book also features of supporting HDR (10bit coloured) for true-to-life colours and digital content.

Unlike Microsoft Surface Pro, both the rival tablets have the keyboard case in the box, and there will be an S Pen which doesn't need a battery and features a precise 0.7mm tip with increased pressure sensitivity.

The 12-inch Samsung Galaxy Book comes with a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, Dual Core 3.1GHz, while the 10.6-inch model comes with Intel Core m3 processor, Dual Core 2.6GHz brains.

They also sport a decent 13-megapixel camera, expandable memory, over 10 hours of usage on one charge.

Other than Galaxy Book, Samsung has also announced its new Android-powered Galaxy Tab S3.

The Tablet sports a 9.7 inch AMOLED display which can also support games with stunning HDR quality.

With new glass and metal design and quad stereo speakers by AKG by HARMAN which supports premium visual and listening experiences. They are intelligent enough to change the sound according to the orientation of the tablet.

Hoping to draw more gamers, The Galaxy Tab S3 includes Vulkan API for superior graphics and Game Launcher for an enhanced user interface and for a customised gaming, and also for Do Not Disturb modes for uninterrupted gameplay.

With an S Pen included, the new Galaxy Tab S3 allows users to be more creative and productive, and also supports multi-tasking.
