Prashant Kishor says Congress will win 68-70 seats in Punjab
It is reported that Captain Amarinder Singh also expects that the party would cross the mid-mark of 60, but the heavy turnout, which was unexpected in Malwa, has left many in the Congress worried.
Congress poll strategist Prashant Kishor is said to have told the party that it will get 68-70 seats in the recently held elections to the 117-member Punjab Legislative Assembly.
Kishor planned the Congress' campaign led by Captain Amarinder Singh. It is reported that Singh himself expects the party to cross the mid-mark of 60 but the heavy turnout which was unexpected in Malwa has left many in the Congress worried.
The Aam Aadmi Party is said to be strong in Malwa, which sends 69 MLAs. An AAP internal survey says the party expects to win 51 seats.
