Sonia Gandhi writes open letter to voters in Amethi and Rae Bareli, says Modi took whatever remained with people
Sonia Gandhi, who has been absent from the campaign trail, said she is unable to be with voters because of certain reasons.
A day before voters in Uttar Pradesh heading for third phase polling, Congress president Sonia Gandhi o Wednesday appealed people to support the Cong-SP alliance, saying “central government is depriving you of welfare programmes deliberately.”
Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an open letter to the voters in Raebareli and Amethi, Sonia said Modi government has taken away whatever remained with the people instead of promising 'ache din'.
"I am unable to be with you because of certain reasons. It is a matter of pride for me and my family to represent you. Raebareli and Amethi are integral part of our lives,” Sonia said.
"The government has taken away your land, your employment, and your hard earned money. They can go to any extreme to safeguard their power. The entire nation is frustrated with their bad governance," she added.
