The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has held two Dubai-bound passengers for allegedly trying to smuggle Saudi Riyal currency worth Rs 45.69 lakh from Kozhikode Airport in Kerala, IE has reported.

The accused had reportedly concealed the cash inside a bunch of bananas, which was later confiscated and checked by the DRI officials. Details are awaited.
