Claiming development was in exile for 10 years in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said Akhilesh Yadav has lost the game in the state.

“Supreme Court had to intervene to ask U.P. police to lodge FIR against Minister Gayatri Prajapati, allegedly involved in rape and murder,”  Modi was quoted by PTI as saying.

“Goonda raj is prevailing all over U.P. Police stations have become Samajwadi Party offices,” he added.


Meanwhile, taking on Modi, Akhilesh Yadav said all BJP leader will have to get their blood pressure checked after state election.

“PM talks about blood pressure, once election results are out all BJP leader will have to get their blood pressure checked,” UP CM was quoted by ANI as saying.

“Want to tell BJP that it is not the alliance of two families but of two young politicians to bring about change,” he added.

Earlier, dismissing Modi’s claim that he was the adopted son of UP, Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh argued Uttar Pradesh has adopted the Samajwadi Party, saying “ he can say whatever he wants... Uttar Pradesh has adopted the Samajwadi Party".
