While Badshah has recently recreated the famous hit-track Tamma Tamma for Varun Dhawan-Alia Bhatt’s upcoming release Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Sonakshi Sinha, on the other hand, was last seen with John Abraham in Force 2 and is now gearing up for her next film titled Noor. The film is an adaptation of a novel by Saba Imtiaz, Karachi, You’re Killing Me! The film is based on a single woman Noor, who is attached to her life as a journalist. The other star cast in the film includes Purab Kohli, Kanan Gill, and Shibani Dandekar. The film will release on April 21.
While there were speculations that Sonakshi Sinha will essay the role of a Pakistani journalist, she cleared the air in an interview to IANS and said, “All I can say is that I am not playing a Pakistani journalist in the film. The film is based on a book, which is written by a Pakistani author. The story has been adapted into a Mumbai backdrop.”
