One of his former employees filed RICO plaintiff suits against Yohannan and his family alleging funneling of around 180 millions of dollars to India labeled on charity but was used for buying large scale of properties for himself and his home managed Believers church.

Initially, these properties were registered as Gospel for Asia (India) later moved its assets to Believers church. Later GFA (India) was renamed as Ananya Charitable Trust. Several reports floated on Yohannan's vast property deals in India on which the government of India holds investigations. 15000 crores of land are said to be owned by this Indian origin American multi-millionaire evangelist who is one of the biggest land bank owners in India. Enforcement Directorate submitted its preliminary inquiry report in which an amazing land hold treasure is said to be possessed by the self-styled Bishop of Believer's church. Continuing the proceedings, Ministry of home (Union of India) suspended his FCRA (foreign currency regulations act) account which led to a financial block to the entire firm. All the institutions run by the church stepped into a great loss in India compelling KP Yohannan to invest the cash collected for charity from the US to his own firms up here.

But a veteran missionary called Billy Bray revealed that he wrote the book while he was working with KP Yohannan.
